The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is the keystone of European Union (EU) risk
assessment regarding food and feed safety. In close collaboration with national authorities
and in open consultation with its stakeholders, EFSA provides independent scientific advice
and clear communication on existing and emerging risks.
The Authority has set up a selection procedure that aims to establish a reserve list for
Temporary Agents (five-year contract renewable at the conditions set out in the Staff
Regulations and in the Conditions of Employment for Other Servants) for:
Senior Scientific Officer
Grade AD8
